The Market

Everything on the market table came out of the ground about forty feet away. Our 7,200-square-foot permaculture garden supplies the market through the growing season — heirloom tomatoes, purple hull peas, tomatillos, cucumbers, potatoes, watermelons, berries, and whatever else is doing well that week.

There are farm-fresh eggs, and Tchinina puts up jams, jellies, fruit butters, salsas, and vinegars year-round with whatever's in season. The Cynthiana grape jelly that took first place at the Osage County Free Fair comes back every fall.
